Company History
MANEX was established in 1987. The company’s management has been associated with the cable industry since the 1970s, particularly in the design and construction of technological lines and microprocessor control systems for the cable industry.
The company began its operations with a single production facility—the Cable Production Plant in Jaworzno—operating one extruder line of its own design. A second extruder line was launched in 1991. During this period, the company’s primary products were cables for the construction industry.
Between 1992 and 2005, the Jaworzno plant underwent expansion and modernization, including the construction of a new production hall and a social-office facility. The current Cable Production Plant in Jaworzno includes a 700 m² cable and electrical wire production hall and a modern social-office building. Currently, the facility operates five advanced, computer-controlled extruder lines.
At the end of 1997, MANEX acquired an industrial plot from the Aluminum Plant in Skawina, covering over 1 hectare and featuring two buildings with a total area of 2,700 m². Following extensive renovations, the Copper Processing Plant and the Machinery Production Plant were launched on the premises.
As part of the company’s continued development aimed at increasing and diversifying production, in 2014 MANEX invested in a new production and office facility, acquiring a building and production hall of approximately 3,300 m² near its existing facilities in Skawina.
The company’s main headquarters and sales office have been located in the center of Kraków since 1990.
It is worth noting that from August 1995 to June 2012, MANEX held the status of a Protected Workplace.
